Course Evaluation

This course is a single semester course focusing on system programming in a Linux environment. Students will study the design of the Linux operating system, issues that arise in a multiprocessing, multiuser environment, security concerns, interprocess communication, and network programming. Students will also be exposed to advanced algorithms and problem solving techniques while learning about the Unix philosophy and how to more successfully design and implement large projects both as individuals and in groups.
